ICT / Media /Library Research Centre 

Cheltenham Primary School prides itself in maintaining a high standard of new technology to assist students with learning through exploring. Over the years, a room was dedicated to providing a purpose-built learning technology environment for all students. Every child at Cheltenham Primary has access to the computers during the normal school week, with additional facilities such as color printers and digital imaging allowing them to create their own work using many software applications.  Every classroom has 3 computers and printer.

The school has recently  purchased more computers, printers, digital cameras and a scanner which all assist in the implementation of Learning Technologies into the classroom.

Our new ICT/ Media/ Library Research Centre  is currently being developed in the Library area.  This facility will become the new ICT communications centre with 30 computers, accessing banks o f computers relating to different software, an interactive communication screen and all high tech facilities available to students and staff.  The media and presentation room will allow for students to present ICT projects to their class and interact OS or interstate.  The Library area will be maintained and students will continue to learn library skills however will develop their skills on gaining knowledge and research through ICT.  This facility will be developed throughout 2005.
