'ROBYN MILLER COMMUNITY CENTRE'- Fulfilment of the vision
On the oval area on the left hand side of the aerial picture of the school is the new "Robyn Miller Community Centre' opened in 2003, named after our then Principal, Robyn Miller who tirelessly worked to provide a range of extension activities and opportunities for children to reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. Her vision was to ensure the performing arts component of our school was nourished hence the development of this building. This is where our music and performance centre is. Instrumental music, music lessons and performance rehearsals are conducted in this area. Behind this building is a mural depicting 'Life Savers' on our local beach.
JUNIOR SCHOOL BUILDING "THE BROWNBILL
WING"
Shown on the right-hand side of the aerial picture of the school, this building
was added in 1993 utilising 6 classrooms acquired from a recently closed school. The
classrooms were transported by semi-trailer, placed in position in the playground, walls
removed, and a cental hallway constructed with an atrium style roof was built. The wing
was named The Brownbill Wing to honour the work and vision of the then Principal, Mr. Kim
Brownbill. This building houses the Prep, 1 and 2 grades as well as a Reading
Recovery support room and Uniform shop. In the open area between the classrooms hangs a
mural created in 1997 as part of our "Artist in Residence" program. The textile
mural depicts the school, its surrounding area, and the sea nearby.

SENIOR CLASS ROOMS
Most of the Senior classes are held in other sections of the
school. Several of the classrooms are part of the main building, while others are located in
extensions to the main building and in the Bristol buildings (shown on the left-hand side
of the aerial picture). The
Bristol buildings were acquired immediately after the Second World War, and have
been fully upgraded. These buildings also contain our Art room.
