VEGETABLE GARDEN

Our vegetable garden provides opportunities for the children to plant, care for and harvest a range of seasonal vegetables. These include cauliflower, broccoli, beans, carrots, tomatoes, and silverbeet. There are different vegetable plots a strawberry and been and tomato patch and a compatible planting experimental area.  Several parents assist grades with planting.  Many years ago during a special activities week, the children made two life size scarecrows, Strawberry and Mac, to watch  over our garden.  They can be seen below.  Following these photos are more recent photos of the upgrade of this area shown the rain water tanks and plots.
